Veterans for America First.

We are a grassroots America First organization that advocates for Veterans and creating programs to help Veterans. This organization will also speak from the conservative side of political stage to endorse and support candidates that stand up for Veterans and are good for the State and our local communities. As the organization grows, so will the programs. Starting with “Save a Vet with a Pet” which saves animals from being euthanized at pet shelters around the state and working with local organizations for maximum community impact. This program helps a Veteran who is in need of a Companion Pet, it saves an animal from being put down and it helps in rehabilitation

About

VFAF

At Veterans for America First, our goal is to lead the fight in issues that impact our Military Veterans, including housing, healthcare, employment, pet companionship to help with mental health and lobbying. VFAF respects and embraces the sacrifices made to ensure our nation’s safety. We are committed to providing Veterans with support for their survival and well-being. It is believed within the organization that our contributions in these areas can build a stronger America built from integrity, service, honor and honesty.

At VFAF we embrace the America First movement We support Veterans in need, border security, Americans and their families. We do not support open borders, illegal immigrants receiving taxpayer support while Veterans are left behind or the Liberal agenda.

Save A Vet with A Pet

Many Military Veterans suffer from physical and mental disabilities such as PTSD and can use the help of a companion dog. Many rescue dogs need a purpose and a loving home, if that cannot be found, then the animal has to be euthanized.

The enduring bond humans share with animals has the power to reduce suffering, mitigate loneliness, improve mental well being and bridge the gap between ourselves and others. For our troops, both past and present, these benefits are especially important to help the transition into civilian life.

“Save a Vet with a Pet” has been created to improve to improve the lives of both Veterans and canines by bringing them together in a thoughtful and caring way. Our goal is to give back to the brave servicemen and women who have given everything to our country, while finding homes for deserving shelter dogs. By matching the right pet with the right Veteran, everyone wins! Shelter dogs receive a second chance at life and Veterans receive a second chance at health and happiness.

By creating “Save a Vet with a Pet” program, two very important and compassionate things occur. Number one, a Military Veteran gets a best friend that can help them in many ways. Secondly, a canine that might be killed becomes a trained companion dog and best friend to a Veteran in need
